“The room was clean. Had everything in it (apart from decent air conditioning) / hairdryer, iron board , kettle. Staff helpful. Breakfast was ok. Only grumble was the sausages were disgusting. Cumberland - which are always dried out and taste revolting. Nothing wrong with a normal greasy pork link.”

“Ordered top soil from Sunderland branch to top up borders after lawn had been levelled. Excellent service, delivery man was very friendly and helpful, placing bags as far up the drive as possible. “Huge thanks to Michael and Paul in the Sea Road shop, Martin who measured up and the fitters. Due to caring for my husband I was unable to get to the shop, so Martin brought samples with him. Michael was very helpful in letting me know what time to expect the fitters, and Brian was very thoughtful in considering the best trims for wheelchair access. I really cannot thank them enough. “Today I went the Sunderland store after being to the Dalton Park store, as I wanted a outdoor storage unit which the Dalton Store one didn't have. I have to say the manager and member of staff where very helpful at Dalton Park store and went to trouble to find out which stores had the unit I was after ...Credit to a girl called Ashley @Sunderland store as she went of her way to look for the outdoor storage I was after as the 1st one she brought out was the wrong colour. She took me straight to customer service deck to be served by a different assistant who at the time was busy with another customer. Ashley jump on a till to get the queue down, then notice I was still waiting to be served so came back over and took me to her till for me to purchase the unit.... She also took the unit to our car and give a helping hand to get the unit into the boot (tight squeeze but we managed). I would like to say a huge thank you and totally appreciate your help....... That's what you call good customer services....... Well done Ashley...”

“Staff brilliant. Shop not so much.Popped in quickly for nostalgia...was sad to see it looked more like a bomb had went off inside. Things all over, random odd bits of tat that must have been left from other shops that weren't sold.However, there were a couple of nice items for a cheap price and the staff are the reason for the four stars.Absolutely wonderful staff on the tills, polite, friendly and even gave me a freebie minifigure that had been found and kept by the till for a while. It was nice to have a peasant experience in a shop.”
