Once we decided he also remembered a sale item which saved us an additional £20 and gave us a better divan. “Great product. Very well made and looks fabulous when made up. Only criticism is that getting the doors lines up properly is a bit of a faff as you need to adjust the frame to make the adjustment. It would be much better to build it into the hinges like they do with kitchen cupboards. Other than that I would highly recommend. You get what you pay for”

“My first ever visit to IKEA yesterday, and my head is still spinning. Whole days passed in there, I think. Was obviously abducted by a time lord because it turns out it only three hours passed by the time I left.

Recommend - take photos of things you want. They do give you a list to check off, and lots of self service points are helpful, as are the very nice toilets. Cheap food too. It’s a real day out, nice, helpful staff, and Swedish Fish. You have to try the Swedish Fish ? ?”

“Shop is dangerous we went for a bedside lamp and left with over £100 worth of random items we didn't know we needed. If you take your wife/ girlfriend here expect to leave with a car full of items you didn't want .”

“I love having a wander around Hobbycraft. I mainly visit to restock on yarn and love the wide range of colours and sizes, but they have a great selection of everything arty and crafty you could ever want. Staff are friendly.

Items can sometimes be more expensive than you'd find online, but it's nice to have such a well stocked craft shop to visit in person.”

“If you're just shopping for home and clothing then I'd highly recommend this location over the store next to the metrocentre. This one tends to be better stocked in sizes for women's, mens and babies clothing. It also has a cafe on the 1st floor, toilets and a small toiletries/cosmetics section.”

“I visited here recently on the recommendation of my insurance company builder's, to choose tiles for an insurance repair. I spoke with Nicholas in the Team Valley, Gateshead store and he was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable on the choice/range of products available and offered extremely helpful tips and general advice. The prices are extremely competitive and the range offers every modern tile choice and more, on the market. I am still in the process of choosing a kitchen, so a second visit was required today for further confirmation on choices, etc. Nicholas was available to offer his assistance and made me feel extremely happy with my choices and prepared lots of comparison prices for me to help with everything. I never felt remotely pressured or that I was in any way holding him up. He is an utterly fantastic staff member and a credit to your store. I feel so pleased to know such great customer service still exits today! Well done Nicholas!”

“The staff in this place really make it the only place to use locally. They are friendly, helpful, down to earth and not hard salesman type at all. They went out of their way to find us the best price carpet and the fact that they squeezed in fitting when we needed it was brilliant. Not to mention their prices!!! I won't use anywhere else now. “Started looking into a new kitchen months ago but until we discovered The Kitchen Works - we were struggling. A fair few companies weren't transparant with their pricing which is something we weren't comfortable with. 1 seemed to work on the premise of pluck a figure out of the air?.Customer Service was also lacking.Andrew Snowball from The Kitchen Works has been *amazing* and given us *outstanding Customer Service* ?. There is so much choice these days and we've found the process daunting plus with health issues it's been a stressful time. Andrew has guided us and his help has been invaluable and so very much appreciated.You'll really struggle to find a better company for a new kitchen in our opinion. They build the carcases on site so what you get delivered is rigid built units and very good quality at that. Lots of different door options available - styles/colours/ budget depending.We're so looking forward to taking delivery of our kitchen in the coming months (our choice - we could have it earlier).Will update with photos once kitchen is installed and decorated.Many thanks Andrew if you happen to see this?. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“My recently widowed mam had a problem with a tap that was supplied and fitted via her local plumber. The tap was less than 2 years old so she phoned the plumber who claimed the tap was out of warranty and told her she would have to buy a new tap and she would be charged for fitting it.My mam decided to look up the paper work and saw that the tap was a brand supplied exclusively by Wolseley so she took it upon herself to visit the local depot on the Team Valley Gateshead to enquire if the tap was still under warranty as her records said it came with a five year guarantee.The gentleman my mam spoke to at Team Valley was extremely helpful and he confirmed the tap was under warranty and he would immediately order her a replacement to collect the next day. Sure enough my mam went in the next day (16 Nov) and the gentleman greeted my mam with her name (and a friendly smile) and handed over a brand new replacement tap to her.Thank you very much to the Customer Service People at Wolseley Team Valley for your outstanding customer service. You really made a difference and helped my mam at an incredibly difficult time for her . Highly recommended. ?????”

“I bought a microwave in July which has developed a fault so I visited the Team Valley Gateshead store where I purchased the item. I spoke to a team member called Stefan who was extremely helpful advising me to return the item. On my return I spoke to a lovely young lady called Ashna who went above and beyond to help. I opted for a new replacement which was ordered in for later that day for me to collect. I would give Argos team members 10/10 for all the help I received today which totally makes everything so much easier talking to someone face to face rather than down the phone or an online chat. Well done Argos your Team Valley members off staff were such a pleasure to speak to.”

“This is the second time I've used Halfords to have the bulbs changed in my car and they are so good. The staff are really friendly and helpful and on both occasions it's taken less than an hour to have my car sorted. I'd definitely recommend.”
