“Since the last time I went to Aldi they have now introduced self check outs which make the till process quicker. I went there on a busy Sunday and got myself in a self check out quick quick. The only negative for them is the space for the bagging area. It could have been a bit bigger. Finally the parking area is not that big when it is busy.”

“A brilliant bakery here. If you can get by in the morning the warm offerings are next level. The prices match the Lidl value too!Car park is nice and big with plenty of room and there is also a reasonably priced electric car charger provided by PodPoint.”
“Very clean shop and staff are helpful and nice if you need help and plenty of staff around the shop. Added bonus of collecting Argos items there. I dont find Sainsburys to be overly expensive. If I buy fruit and veg here it doesn't go bad quickly like lidls does. Nice big self service area fit for a trolley full. Some people don't like self service but for me who doesn't like dealing with people and small talk it's my first choice. Would like yellow stickers back in one place though.”

“The store is clean tidy and has various items to buy the staff is friendly and helpful. I can say the only thing wrong with the store at this present moment, is as being a parent. I have to leave my child in the buggy outside as only one door is working at the moment, it's been like this since November 17.”
“Great variety of produce and groceries and very reasonable prices. The only issues is that the store is quite small so the amount of variety is limited because of the size of it.”
“I love this store. With it being a local the prices are higher than other stores, but its worth it for the convenience as I live so close. Love the opening times. Most of all though the staff are incredible. I come in everyday or every other day and all of the workers say hello and ask how im doing. Shout out to Brendan and Niall. “Leaving this review even though we didn't purchase anything. My brother had an epilepsy seizure in the store today, a young lady quickly saw us struggling to protect his head and asked us if we needed anything or help. She closed off the aisle to give us space and privacy even though this could short term impact their customers and sales, they saw the person in distress and put him above all else. We have never had this sort of support in a shop, it is refreshing to see. Once my brother was able to stand, they took us to a private area to allow him to recover in private. We didn't purchase any products due to the seizure and having to leave to take my brother to recover but the experience we got today, goes above and beyond in our eyes and deserves to be recognised and rewarded. The lady is not only a credit to your lidl store but society as a whole.”

“A little expensive than Lidl and ASDA but has a large different variety of products which is available only on Amazon sometimes and not available in lidl and Asda. They have a Children’s clothing line called nutmeg which has a fair selection of products”
“Called into Asda cafe in South Shields ideal for town centre area. Thought the staff in cafe was very cheerful polite and helpful told me little wait for breakfast but pleasentley surprised came lot quicker than I thought. Also nice and hot”
