“I went to Byker store and found a lovely jacket, however not in my size. I saw a member of staff (Lauren) at the door and asked if they had my size in the stock room. She kindly checked and advised they were out of stock. There nearest outlet store was Dalton Park. I asked if she could check to see if they had one in stock as we were going to Dalton Park the next day. Lauren's app was not working properly due to Internet signal so she rang the store. After confirming they had one in stock she asked if it could be put to one side for collection the next day. Lauren has gone over and above to help me. This is 5 star customer service and deserves a shout out. Well done Lauren. Well done Marks and Spencer for employing such a worthy sales assistant. I hope this lady goes far in her career.”

“Served by Jodie. Was asking about the work shoes and commented that I was replacing my current pair, which I was wearing. She took note of my shoes and found the same model in the back. They weren't on display so I had assumed they weren't on display. They also came out cheaper. Really appreciated the initiative as I hate having to make sure the new pair will be comfortable. “Went into Clarks Eldon Square this afternoon with my husband to buy a pair of boots. We were served by Neha with the fabulous eyelashes. She was so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left with our new boots. The boots are great. This is my second pair, as I had worn my old pair for about two years and they were on their last legs. But they are very good quality, comfy and practical. “Wife and I popped in on the off chance of finding a leather jacket for her. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by engaging and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including popping out to grab stock from a local department store for my wife to try on. We walked away not only knowing that the right purchase had been made but also with a feeling of been blown away by the levels of customer service, the like of which are increasingly rare these days.”

“I was anxious to go purchase some shoes, until a very friendly, well mannered young lady named Heather approached me at put me at ease. You see, i usually have trouble purchasing shoes as i am never happy with what i buy. Anyway, i had seen these shoes.. They were brown, in summation they are brown shoes. I like brown shoes. I also like blue shoes, but they get dirty easily so i wanted these brown shoes. These shoes are an improvement over walking around barefoot! More comfortable and safer! Like 200% safer. You can step on lego in these shoes and it doesnt hurt. Amazing with hot concrete. I still stub my toes quite abit though, but these shoes take the brunt of the hit. Anyway, young Heather put me at ease and sold me these amazing brown shoes. I will definitely be back and if it was anyone else i wouldnt have purchased as most people arent approchable in the shop. :) thanks”

“Next door from the other supermarket. Its a small shop very well stocked. Love the soups and fresh fruit. Often i buy here when i am away from home, you can have an healthy meal at a decent price. Also like some scotish eggs for lunch. Shop was not too busy and staff is friendly.”

“Beware... If you go in you definitely will come with something good and nice to wear. The best thing is that you can check the vegan shoes they have and if you can't get the size you need you get them online in the shop!”

“I've been in this store a few times and like it a lot as it's extremely interesting. The last time I was in it I thought it to be the trendiest shop in town, and if I was young and had plenty of cash I'd shop there. The clothing is cutting edge fashion and very well made, but it's also rather expensive and personally I'd feel inclined to shop around for better deals. However it's worth a visit if you're passing by as the products are fascinating and well displayed by people who clearly know what they're doing and are 'dedicated followers of fashion.' I bought a top of the range wallet from them years ago when they had a display in Fenwick's mens department and have always loved it. It shows no signs of wear at all as it's top quality leather, and you get what you pay for. Oh yeah just as an afterthought, the girls in there are really pretty, and the best looking girls always go where the anointing is.”
