Worst customer service.
Purchased an MSI Cyborg 15 AI Laptop for £899 advertised to have 1TB SSD and 32GB RAM. This is falsely advertised on the website and John Lewis don't seem to care about changing this. They are refusing to resolve the issue. Do not buy from here worst mistake ever.

Visited store today and spoke to two excellent members of staff about a television in the clearance section. We came home and measured the space to ensure it would fit. Phoned the store to order only to be eventually told that the call centre in South Africa has no direct line to the store and the only way we could buy the product was to return to store!
Really!
So now John Lewis employ sales prevention staff!
So sad.
Absolutely appalling.

Very disappointed with the lack and speed of customer service.

Absolutely pointless!
Got directed to their WhatsApp address to place my question.
Then, after having to give my full personal details and e-mail address was instructed " You're in a queue, and we'll get to you as soon as we can ".
That was at 12.12pm and STILL no response from them as at 18.56pm , almost six hours later.
Pathetic for a business that claims customer service is important to them.
No doubt they'll trot out the usual well worn excuses for this complete waste of my day as I'd planned to travel to Newcastle to visit their store.
Customer service.....? Very poor.

I?m sitting in John Lewis cafe and one of the waitresses has given a man in a wheelchair excellent service. She knows him by name, helped with his order and was really friendly with him. She definitely deserves recognition for this, sorry I didn?t get her name, she has long dark hair.

I have went to buy a perfume from the shop but it was not in-store. Victoria helped me to order it online to be delivered home and she was kind enough to provide me with bag and tissue papers to gift wrap it.

Faulty dishwasher 9 months old Horrendous customer service Very hard to understand accents v poor English Already made 3 calls One told me to wait so did for 20 minutes then a rather rude guy came on the line no explanation of where the first guy went & told me abruptly to ring next day as the manufacturer was closed Then why on the website state you can phone JL up to 8pm? NOT the service we expect from JL Pit us right off Getting it fixed is like wading thru mud And it was a very expensive dishwasher Should have gone elsewhere Theyre great on delivery but v v poor if something goes wrong with the item Lost all trust in them

Absolute disgrace and no respect from John Lewis delivery drivers. The delivery driver didn't remove his shoes, it was raining on the day and with it being a new house, it's a construction site outside the house. He trailed all the way from the front to back of house leaving dirt and marking my new LVT flooring.
I was going to order a mattress from John Lewis but definitely will not now, I'm not having there delivery driver walking on cream carpets with there shoes on.

Took some trainers back as they were coming away at the back. I had had them for just under a year and unfortunately the assistant said that as they were just under a year old there was nothing to be done. I was unhappy with this as John Lewis also refused to send them back to the manufacture for their opinion. The trainers manufacture was Superga and as John Lewis sells that make I would expect the quality to be good ..which didn't happen in this case.

Today I visited the ladies department and had excellent advice and service from Lesley. It?s refreshing to find assistants who go out of their way to help find items and advise customers on the right items to suit them. Also thank you to the lady on the changing rooms who went to find the correct underwear which would not show through the light coloured item I tried on. Very happy with my purchases today.

It's very sad that Waitrose closed in Newcastle. My personal opinion is that it should have been integrated into the bottom floor of John Lewis, like their competitors. Fenwick...food and drink sales on bottom floor. M & S....food and drink on the bottom floor. John Lewis... just lost of cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. Dyson vacuum's which are down the pan!! Downsize the other departments... ground floor up ... its not rocket science... I believe it would be very popular and profitable ? Have faith and trust in your brand and workforce.
