Currently trying to settle the remainder of my finance agreement after my car was written off. So far, in my first phone call, I've spent 1 hour and 52 minutes on hold, and I'm still waiting.

Response times are awful you?ll be on hold for at least an hour to get through to someone and I settled my finance with them and despite my credit score and wages going up since the finance was first taken out they won?t approve me now ??? Doesn?t make sense

Would give 0 stars if we could. We cannot get through to arrange our end of contract options. Spent hours on the phone at all points of the day trying to get through. The regulator should be all over them if they aren?t already. A shining example of a company who do not take consumer duty and good customer outcomes seriously. In need of a large fine and being made an example of.

Avoid this company.
I wasn't aware that there was car insurance in my name, and when I contacted them, nobody would listen. They just wanted the cancellation money without even looking into my case. I would not recommend this company, not even to my worst enemy. For the record, three weeks later, nobody has contacted me?and to make it worse, the case was closed.

I have spoken to a few very rude unprofessional cusromer service advisors from.santander finance. But today by chance I spoke to a very polite friendly and professional indian lady called GEITA (not sure if I spelt her name correctly) she is a credit to santander consumer and others who work their should take note and learn how to give great customer service like GEITA!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. From beginning to end, my experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There are too many issues to list, and it would take hours to explain them all. Please take this as a serious warning?avoid taking out finance with Santander Consumer Finance unless you?re prepared for constant problems and frustration.

Got into arrears due to a direct debit not being set up, never being able to get through to anyone on the phone. Over a hour wait with multiple tries to then get a text message saying are you trying to get hold of us, go online! Finally got through to someone today and I told him I can never get through to them for him to say well never mind your through now that's all that matters. Ummm no it does matter when you've got solicitors calling you as you can't make payments to them as wven doing it online says to contact them!!!!!!

How is it possible that a large company like this finds it totally acceptable to have call wait times over 1 hour 40mins (and still waiting as I?m typing this) whilst holding they have the cheek to say ?all busy, with you shortly? - Absolute joke company.

Read other reviews - same exact thing repeated, awful customer service (the worst i have ever experienced), 3x months to progress a complaint with a brand new car and no resolution, rude staff, miss-selling etc.
Do not go with them for car finance if there is anyway you can avoid it.

Absolute horrible response time to customer queries. I rang them up about an outstanding finance that remained on a car i just bought. Waited for over 1 and a half hour on the call, a woman picked up and ended the call within 10 seconds. Absolute vile piece of customer service
