“Great shop with plenty of high quite quality foods at good process. Veg always worth buying here.
The wines are great value and amazingly good. I've had pricier wines that couldn't compete. My favourite for a summer's evening is crisp cold Vinho Verde. Aldi's Animus Vinho Verde is as good as the Vinho Verde we used to buy when we lived in Portugal 38 years ago, and the price is excellent. Aldi, please restock frequently!”

“Just moved to the local area and the folks working here have been incredible.

Helped by checking CCTV when partner lost money in the cash machine (manager - rubbish with names - was a good laugh and happy to assist). One particular team member (again, rubbish with names!) has been awesome for local restaurant and dining options. He definitely deserves a commendation for striking the perfect balance of providing great customer service while remaining genuine, and up for a laugh.

“I love these kind of sell everything green grocers, but its quality stuff and fresh produce. They sell all sorts of fruit and veg, but plenty of other products too. Cakes, biscuits, cheeses, breads. Great place to just browse the goods. Only thing is they have great bread but it seems to be running out by the weekend :D but that's a minor quibble. Highly Recommended”

“Very nice Waitrose in the middle of Guildford.

A quality Waitrose in the middle of Guildford with parking as well - what is not to like! (Except the parking ticket machines which are very difficult to use and incredibly slow! You do get your money back when you buy something at Waitrose though )

The store is very well run with good stock levels and friendly and knowledgeable staff so never disappoints.”

“Today I visited the Sainsbury's supermarket in Guildford and was pleasantly surprised by the care and attention dedicated to the flower and plant department.

Wide selection of fresh flowers: The department offers a wide range of fresh flowers, with a variety of colours and types to suit every need.
Attention to detail: The presentation of the flowers and plants is impeccable, with particular attention to cleanliness and order.
Welcoming atmosphere: The supermarket as a whole is very well-maintained, clean and welcoming, creating a pleasant shopping experience.

“All home essentials I need is here. Membership is worth it. Already saved hundreds of £££ with clubcard over couple of years. The place is just perfect! Never had an issue with them.”

“This is surely the best selection and the longest opening hours, 07.30 to 20.30 weekdays, slight variations Saturday and Sunday. Disappointing range which is food based, very limited choice of stationery and toiletries.”

On Sunday, my day off, I thought I had lost my phone earlier that morning. I returned to the store feeling anxious, and despite it being a busy day, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. “Sainsburys in Stoughton, Guildford is a great local convenience store with very well stocked items and friendly members of staff always willing to help especially Marrissa who is very friendly and helpful. I still think the supermarkets take advantage of there customers on the pricing of items for example a packet of crisps £3.30 but this is down to the companies being greedy and making huge profits and not down to the staff working in the shops.”

“I am so lucky to live next to the Co-Op. While they sometimes are low on stock in the fresh veg region, they always have enough to keep me well fed. The staff are all super nice and the fresh baked bread everyday is a plus!”

“Conveniently located at the entrance to the railway station it carries all the items you'd need to fulfil your snacking / meal needs as well as being somewhere to stock up on the basics.”

“A useful petrol station and Little Waitrose. Some ready meals, small wine and beer selection, and crisps and snacks stocked - all of the slightly fancier degree that you'd probably expect of a Waitrose.Petrol prices are also on a par or lower with other stations I've seen in the area.”

“It's a nice little store. Very convenient after driving for a few hours from the airport and great for a few snacks. The customer service was really good, and the two men were polite. They had sold out of eggs but i guess that was reasonable as it was 11pm at a busy service station and the staff were really nice about it. It's a little overpriced but worth it for the convenience:)”
