this store is so well kept, the workers are so nice and helpful, i enocuntered a worker called nicole who was soooo helpful in helping me find a very niche item in the store and seemed very happy to do so, very good customer service, i will be happy to come back to this store knowing that i will get help from the staff here, thanks nicole!!!

Not too large a supermarket and therefore not too large a range.
Parking is also difficult in this shopping street.

I have just visited your store on Guildford High Street and I?m shaken. Me and my husband wanted to get last bits and an alcoholic drink before we go back home. We used self checkout but for the drink to be approved we needed staff member. There was one woman behind the counter but she did not move just stared at us. We clicked help button but after some time nobody came to approve it. I told my husband to go behind the counter and just get the alcoholic drink and I will move the shopping somewhere to rescan it as nobody is here to help us. When I was scanning I got approach by a young female with blond hair and a yellow star spot sticker that in the rude manner told me, is that you that moved from there? I apologised and said I had to as there was nobody to help. She then abruptly said I have a mouth so I could find someone on the shop floor and speak to them. I informed her I pressed help button but nobody was around and there?s always someone that stands by self checkout to help. She told me she is not there to stand and wait as she?s got multiple jobs to do then she looked at me with disgust and walked away without saying anything. This is my local store and I have never had issues with anyone and the staff was always very friendly with me. I suffer from autism and unfortunately this kind of incidents have a massive impact on me. Unfortunately, I won?t be able to go back as I do not want to be approach by the same lady that made my shopping experience hell. It?s a shame as I?ve been visiting this store few times a day for the past 6 years.

The size of the shop is not big which makes the product options kind of limited, but you can still find the most essential stuff here. I suggest going to the Burpham store nearby for a better experience because it's way larger. They also have Argos, a petrol station and a larger carpark at Burpham which is more convenient for those who drive.

Sainsbury?s has become our go-to place for all our grocery needs. It?s one of those rare places that instantly makes us feel at home, no matter where we are. Having recently moved to a new house, we?ve been adjusting to everything that feels unfamiliar, and the homesickness has been real.
But stepping into the local Sainsbury?s was such a comforting experience. The layout, the familiar selection of products, and the welcoming atmosphere made us feel a deep sense of connection. It?s amazing how consistency and familiarity across their stores can bring so much reassurance during a time of change.
The feeling of similarity truly helped us settle in, and it?s heartwarming to know there?s a place we can rely on that feels like home away from home. Sainsbury?s isn?t just a grocery store for us?it?s a comforting part of our daily lives.
