What a delightful night, thank you to Justina and Nicki?must be magicians as they worked magic!! Food was really nice, the ploughman?s board was so filling for our lunch but Justina managed to convince me and my partner to get their crispy pork belly dish and Shepard?s pie and both 10/10. Will return to the best Greene king pub!

We had a fantastic lunch here today. The food was delicious and the service from Emily was exceptional. The kids even asked if we could come back for dinner! Highly recommend.

The vegetable grill was extremely disappointing and very expensive. Described as sage butternut squash steak it was 3 little fingers of butternut squash (no taste of sage)
No sweet potatoes as advertised.
Mushrooms we're not field mushroom .
Peas we're like bullets. Definitely not birds eye!
For £16.95 this was totally over priced.

Have been to the Star Inn quite a few times over the years. The food is always great, as are the staff. It is part of the Chef and Brewer brand, and I would highly recommend it as a place to spend a couple of hours. We went there last night again and we're not disappointed.

Having stayed at the Premier Inn frequently over the past six weeks, this pub has become my absolute favourite local spot. The food is consistently outstanding ? truly great quality, always delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are equally fantastic; always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making every visit a pleasure. While the prices are a little on the higher side, you truly get what you pay for in terms of the quality of both the food and the drinks. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door and had meals in the Star Inn
Breakfast was better than similar places, the hot food is cooked to order.
The other meals were well done and the staff very helpful.

Nice pub with lovely staff. Stayed in the neighboring premier inn this week for work and used this place for breakfast and dinner each day. Continental breakfast is limited (as they generally are) but the evening meals were very nice. The pies are definitely a step up from your usual pub fare and the burgers both beef and chicken have a great variety of extra toppings such as marmite and merlot gravy, brisket and a nice jam on the chicken. The staff were very attentive, warm and friendly which added to the experience. Overall I would most certainly recommend this pib

A Gem in Felbridge ? Highly Recommended
I recently visited The Star Inn in Felbridge and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were mainly friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our visit. The bar service was excellent ? efficient and well-stocked, with a good selection of wines and other drinks.
The highlight of our meal was without a doubt the fish and chips ? perfectly cooked and genuinely superb. It?s a dish I often order, and this was one of the best I?ve had in a long while.
Whether you're local or visiting the area, The Star Inn is certainly worth a visit. It's especially convenient if you?re staying at the Premier Inn next door ? quite literally within ?staggering distance? if you?ve enjoyed one too many.
A great spot with quality food, good drinks, and a welcoming environment. I?d definitely return.
