A country pub that does fab and very reasonably priced lunches and dinners. I had one of their specials of the day... Wild mixed grill with boar sausage, venison steak and duck. Not great for my waist line, but oh so tasty. I regret nothing!

Below average food, gloopy potato & soggy pastry both on chicken pie & apple pie. Fresh food shouldn’t be that quick coming out of the kitchen. Also not much of an atmosphere as so quiet. Shame as an ideal location and could be great !

Ordered a mixed grill asked for rare the steak was super well (not) well done and to top it off the rest of the meat was over cooked to burnt especially the sausage which was so burnt it had a thick black crust around it which I didn’t attempt to even taste. No one ask during the meal or after if the food was
