Awful service
The shop was really empty, staff had plenty of time and could have offered help. When I asked for some help regarding the best size for a ski jacket for my daughter I was told to just try them and the member of staff left.

Had a great experience here. Paul carried out my Gait Analysis and was so knowledgeable and able to offer great advice. He helped me pick out my first ever pair of running shoes and delivered a great service!

Been to this store several times over the years to have gait analysis and buy new running shoes. It?s always been a good experience but on this occasion, was really impressed by Harrison?s helpful demeanour. Clear and balanced advice, with a thorough presentation of options. Didn?t feel rushed or pressured to buy any of the options. Keep it up, guys.

Don?t look at the negative reviews..
I went there yesterday (09/06/25) and got a great service, scanned my feet and that showed recommended through walking shoes for my foot type..
The member of staff was patient, informative and honest.. When me and my wife left, we said if we owned a retail business, we?d poach this young fella..
I?ve been here before to by ski stuff for my son and the service was exemplary then also..
Great service and I?ll definitely be back but shame on me for not getting the young lads name..

There is a good range of clothing and equipment with knowledgable staff which, of course, you are going to pay more for than your online box shifters.
There is enough parking and it is not in town so is pretty accessible. Worth supporting!

Great for warm clothes and not just for snow and rock

The store was a mess, and clothes were not on the right hangers, so incorrect sizes were put back on the wrong hangers. No staff to be seen anywhere. The changing rooms were unmanned, so clothing was left all over the floor. No one was around to help, offer advice on products. The kids' department was the busiest and so you would think they would be someone to help in that section. Overall a poor representation of what used to be a good store.

Ludicrous policy on returns just cost you £380 worth of sales for no real reason.Item: Avalanche safety (Spade transceiver and probe) bundle.The policy:Buy in store: No you can?t return because it?s safety equipment.Buy online: Yes sure you have 14days to return.Buyer asks: ?but why can you accept the online return??Shop guy: oh because we do thorough check on the item when it comes back in.Buyer: even when an online return is brought back to the store?Shop guy: YesBuyer: so what is the point of refusing a return for the in store buyer???Shop guy: not sure really, that is policyWhy did the returns policy matter to me?Because i was tempted to buy the item in case my online order from a different vendor did not arrive in time for my trip.
