I feel so sad at having to leave this review as we have been a customer of 13 years and in that time have bought 2 new cars and 1 used and have a service plan with them. This review is not for the sales team, but the servicing/repairs team. We have been trying to have our Meriva fixed or diagnostically assessed, for now, 2 weeks and Sudbury want Tiptree to look at it, but Tiptree want Sudbury to look at it. The facts of the matter are that we are unlikely to be able to drive it to Tiptree because some days we can't start it; if we're lucky enough that it starts and can drive it - all warning lights and accompanying warning sounds will come on and of course we don't know what will happen if we continue to drive it too far.The receptionist is very helpful and empathises, but whoever is responsible for Sudbury simply refuses to want to even look at the car.Finally I am a carer for my brother who has disabilities and can be called upon at any time. As we are one working car down, it means that I am forever having to drive my husband to work and then collect him so that I can have a car just in case my brother needs me.I am very disappointed with this service or lack of it and whilst it is good that it has been escalated to area management, it still does not leave us with 2 working cars.

just before Christmas someone drove into my car and done significant damage. As my car was a Corsa. I emailed underwoods sudbury bodyshop. On the same day I had an reply by email and after a quick phone call Martin bodyshop manager and a repairer was coming round that afternoon to have a look at the damage. The same day I had a quote!!!.
They picked my car up and provided me with a courtesy car. Martin and his team have been outstanding. Great customer service and support. phone calls to keep me informed with repairing my car.
I collected my car this evening , went to the reception and was greeted with a smile from a very nice lady , she chatted with me while I was waiting. The repair on my car was immaculate looks brand new and they cleaned the whole car. I can't express how great everyone was at underwoods and I will be back hopefully no with a damaged car.
A+++ service a very happy customer.

Appalling customer service again..Nearly 20 years ago i tried to buy a new car from sudbury vauxhall i found them ignorant, unhelpful and rude.However my partners vauxhall needed a service and mot her first since owning this vehicle so i thought i would try Underwoods as surely it couldn't be as bad now..Well i was wrong several attempts i failed to reach the service department, twice i left my details with the receptionist for them to get back to me and obviously they haven't bothered..I can only guess they don't need the work..

Had our car serviced there and was having a look around the new skodas and at no point did anyone ask if we needed help. UPDATE, got a phone call to see if I needed any help and was very pleasant. If only all the staff there were as good as Terry who was not in on the day we visited.

Recently bought my second car from Underwoods in Sudbury, this time as a part exchange. Cannot thank Terry enough for the time he took to listen to what I was looking for and my car needs before offering cars which fit my criteria and budget. My previous car has been covered by a service plan though Underwoods and every member of the sales and service team that I have dealt with over the last 6 years has been kind, patient, helpful and profressional.
