Went here after work for a drink with a work colleague. Really nice pub with outdoor seating. Although we didn't try the food what we saw being given to customers looked really nice. Will go here again and next time.e sample some of the food

Omg what a lovely find was traveling somewhere else but wanted to stop for lunch so found here. Food amazing, well done to the team cooking on a hot day. And the lady behind the bar was such a delight and couldn't be more attentive even tho she was on her own out front. Well done guys will defo visit again.

What a lovely find. A really friendly welcome to a beautiful country pub. As an added bonus we bumped into another Leonberger. We will definitely pop in again the next time we're nearby

What a gem of a pub. Just moved into the area and stumbled across this by total accident.
So glad we did. The staff behind the bar were polite and very helpful.
We opted for the Sunday roast which was amazing.
Definitely be returning again.

Popped by and the atmosphere was lovely. The chef was running late but the lady behind the bar gave us his ETA and kept us updated which we really appreciated. The food was delicious and well worth the wait! I would definitely recommend this charming spot!

A place like no other.
This is such a little gem. Nestled away we feel so lucky to have this as one of our local pubs. The atmosphere is just lovely and walking in the door or through the beautiful courtyard garden you instantly feel at home. This is a place where you instantly feel at ease, an atmosphere created by the indomitable Nikki who is the perfect landlady- always interested and kind and attentive. The team are great- always so caring and attentive and the food.. oh my word! It?s hearty, and so delicious, generous portions and so very tasty. The potato dauphinoise is my favourite! The team are so welcoming to children and dogs and there?s a little play park just outside if the kids need to run off steam.
We love visiting, and feel very lucky to live so nearby. Thank you Nikki and team for always providing whatever is needed and spreading loveliness around everything like moonlight.

Popped in here with my hound one Friday lunchtime?Congenial, local, atmosphere & cooking proper food. Not just chips with everything. I enjoyed the pork belly?.Nicole, the barmaid, is a star. Polite, chatty & helpful. (I now know lemon is the colour to paint my fingernails this year ?)...Heartily recommended. Thank you!
