My wife and I ventured out to The Moon & Mushroom in late December, having read good things about the pub online. Although the name has changed, there has been a public house on this site since the early 16th Century. It is said to have been used as a staging post for convicts awaiting transportation, but the welcome today is much different!
Many of the original features remain and can still be seen in the pub.
It is a place where you can relax with friends throughout the year either round open fires or in either of the two beautiful patio areas we have created.
