As a first-time customer at Boots Opticians, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had some doubts initially, unsure if I would find what I needed—but I’m so glad I decided to go in. I don’t regret it at all.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Tracey, who was incredibly patient, professional, and helpful while I struggled to choose the right glasses. She spent much more time with me than I expected, guiding me through trying different frames and explaining each step clearly when it came to lens options. Thanks to her support, I was able to make a confident decision—without her help, I would have needed much more time to decide what suited me best.

I also want to mention kind David, who was always happy to help, and the young lady who did my eye test—she was professional, patient, and kind throughout the process.

I met two more team members whose names I unfortunately don’t remember, but they were just as friendly and helpful. As a team, the staff at Boots Opticians made my experience truly positive. Thank you all!”

“I’ve been a customer at the pharmacy for many years where I collect my regular medication. It really saddens me to see how much abuse these dispensary staff receive from some customers, I’ve unfortunately witnessed this on several occasions, people shouting and swearing at them! They work long hours and have a difficult job to do! So awful to see them being abused by customers, it’s not on! :(”

“They are pretty good, and at the very least I think they are ethical and hardworking. There are some obvious improvements that would make them great, though. They need a call-waiting system - it’s possible to call them 20-30 times in a day and on my get a busy tone. They also need to improve the repeat prescription notification system, as I’ve signed up several times and it doesn’t seem to work at all. I’m still rating 4 stars because they are polite, patient, obviously trying their best, and open late.”

“Boots in newmarket is a nice store all the staff look good in there uniforms but the manager needs to sort her clothing out as she wears jeans she should have a uniform also”
