“I would like to give this place a good review, I am new to newmarket and this is honestly such a nice small calming place and the very first for a market that I'm actually surprised. Employees are so calm and really nice, very polite & whatever you ask them for always happy to help. Such good attitude from all of them, honestly well done guys.Can be considered a bit expensive but they have pretty good deals quite often, I once noticed that the raspberries I bought for fresh, were expiring the next day, but was already too late. Other than that, thank you guys, such a good job over there ?”

“There is a post office and cash withdrawal facility here. They sell a great range of basic household goods- groceries, cleaning products, birthday cards, that sort of thing. A minimum purchase of £5 if you want to use a debit card to pay, otherwise cash. There is a petrol filling station attached, and a phone box nearby. Only a 30/40 min walk from Lidgate (next village) so useful to have nearby.”

“I (sadly) love a big Tesco. No idea why just do. This has been my favourite store since it opened. However...70%+ of the time I scanned as I shop in have to stand around at the self scan checkout and have my neatly packed away shopping turfed upside down to be checked. Tesco can see by my club card history how many hundreds of thousands of pounds I must've spent over the years, including insurances, loans and credit cards...yet I'm still forced to endure it. It happens far too often to be random and other people I speak to hardly ever have to go through it.”
