“Home Bargains is a lovely shop and they sell a variety of things. I needed a bulb for my oven and I ended up buying a few other things whilst I was there. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance and disabled parking outside. The staff were friendly and helpful.”

“I get my birdfood supplies from here. Buying in bulk appeals to me, although I get my " No Waste" bird seed in very large bag (20 kg) from The Pet Tank in Blackheath Road. I can't recommend the the bird seed in B&M except for the High Energy bird seed for robins etc and the sunflower seeds as well. I think I feed them far to well because they turn their beaks up at wheat and when it rain it rots leaving that smell that I used to associate with farmyards. Sometimes I buy the canned food there when I need standby rations.By the way I'm not sure whether you should follow me and my tastes because when it comes to making tea I can't drink it if it's been made with water boiled in a microwave and I can't drink tea made in a stainless steel tea pot I've got my mother's taste buds and her sense of taste was acute right up to her death at 92. We all have differing chemistries as demonstrated when we disagree on products - so Buyer Beware!”

“Just been to savers and I was serves by a very joyful, helpful and pleasant young lady called Lilly. She quickly helped me to find what I was looking for and in the time that it took me to get my purse out she served and packed my shopping.without holding anybody up.”

“The fact that this shop has a carpeted door matt when you walk in already makes it a winner, as it allows you to wipe you feet before walking in the immaculate lino that has clearly been laid by incredibly skills craftsmen as there are no creases or folds on it. And they sell cheap books so pretty damm good really.”
