“I had a nail in a tyre and removed the tyre myself and took to HiQ.The service was excellent, the didn't have the tyre in stock -and I didn't expect them to as it was an unusual size. They quickly checked and arranged to have it delivered the same day.Later that day they called to say my wheel was ready and new tyre fitted. They checked the manufacturers pressure etc.I took the tyre gome and fitted. A few days later (today)I dropped in and asked if they could check the torque on the wheel nuts. I took a car in for mot to be arranged by RTE, the report came back and it was a lot of small things but the quote (despite being more than competitive) wasn't a small one. Rather than let me keep trickling money in to an older car to keep it going I got sound advice to put that cash toward something newer that would have lower on costs. RTE didn't think twice about passing on making money out of an old car which I think speaks of an honest tradesman.”
