When you need something done and when you try and phone the staff up to ask for help you don?t get a answer from the phone I thought it is 24 hours staff on the desk at your service but clearly not they are useless at answering the phone. The staff are ok . But they don?t even answer the phone when you need something this is not acceptable at all. Answer your phones

I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions on work related business as a night worker. On the occasions my workplace has me working out of area in this region I will specifically request this hotel because I know I will get good service here.Without exception the staff are friendly and welcoming, whether that's the reception desk, the bar or restaurant, and this has been the case on each and every stay.The one small gripe I have, and this was the only reason I removed the one star for service, is the lack of a chef during weekends. My understanding is they're looking to change this situation and have full restaurant service throughout the week. Unfortunately I couldn't ascertain if this situation HAS changed as on my most recent stay the restaurant was closed due to some incident out of their control. It would be great if they do have full service all week as the food served up here is pretty decent.I can't fault the breakfast, it's what you would expect with a choice of a traditional fry-up (which is probably grilled actually), or continental style pastry selection.This is going to continue to be my hotel of choice when working out of area in this region, I literally have no reason to change since I'm very happy with the experience I receive here every time I stay.

Warm welcome on checking in. On returning after our evening out, we discovered someone had driven their car into the front reception, and it was wedged in the reception desk. The staff were fantastic dealing with the situation, then and in the following morning. It must have been shocking when it happened, and I hope the person on reception is OK.Food & drinks: There are so many excellent restaurants in Bury St Edmunds.

Great place to stay. Booked 2 rooms both clean and comfy beds. Great shower with lots of hot water.Paid for the meal deal which was great value with 2 course dinner with a drink and a hearty buffet breakfast all very good.Special mention to Zac who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.Only negative was that the electric car chargers were not workingRooms: Large rooms with comfy beds and a good showerFood & drinks: Good good freshly cooked. Drinks a little pricey

2nd full week of staying here, table service is none existent, book at table for 7 and have to wait 20 mins to be seated, then wait a further 40 mins for anyone to even come near you. If I wasn't staying her I would of been long goneFood & drinks: You would Never get drunk in this establishment. Takes to bloody long to get them.Very very very limited menu, I will eat everything but this menu is shocking

We stayed at the Premier Inn Bury St Edmunds for 2 nights. It's a great location, quiet, easy access to walk into the town. We must say how fantastic the staff were, but a particular mention for Mason, who really is a huge asset to the company. He is excellent at his job, hard working and so polite. He is amazing.

Had a really nice stay at premier inn Bury St Edmunds, walking to the town centre took no time at all as it?s very central to the town. The rooms were nice and clean. Probably the best part at the hotel was the breakfast as it?s all you can eat, Glen the cook was really nice and the food matched his friendly approach.Food & drinks: Loved the breakfast

You can always rely on Premier Inn. You know you will have a fuss free visit, a clean room, a comfy bed, good service at a good price. But this visit was not problem free. Normally, breakfast is very good value. This time, most of the items we selected were not as hot as we would expect. Some items were almost cold! Breakfast is something we look forward to, and usually good but not this time. One other thing, the bathroom is very tight on space, moving around I banged my elbow and knee a few times. I think this is a new design, there is usually more room.

Had a drink before going out for dinner and another drink when we came back, had a great laugh with another guest and the staff on duty. We were able to check in early the room was as expected as was the bathroom both very clean a little on the cold side and couldn't alter the thermostat. The breakfast was lovely. We would use this one again. Thank you ?.
