“Pleased to say this would now be my local store. Great value of products including fresh produce and bakery, I was served by a lovely gentleman who had great mannerisms.”

“It's a Home Bargains, pretty much same layout as most HBs.A variety of stuff on the cheaper side like all other HBs before and after this one, the car park is alright I've seen better and I've seen much worse, from what I can tell it definitely is a HB and not some shady front for something sinister.”

“Gotta love co-op Never seen any problems with security guards myself. Although, a later addition to this review, I must admit that the food here is more expensive than a competitor such as Tesco’s in the ark, but then it’s a choice between a long walk and more expensive food. Again, I can’t fault any experience I have had here and the no produce is horrendously overpriced. They always have a few trolleys full of very discounted products they are selling off at the tills.”

“Well stalked and tidy grocery. (AIE) This is the fancier of the options in the area for food shopping. Wonderful variety and helpful staff. When I asked about sauerkraut, the employee walked me to one and offered to show me other variety in a separate aisle. Same with the meat counter. They did not have any center cut chops behind the counter, so he came out and walked me to good choices in the aisles. Cafe is has a higher standard. Open choice pastries, china and real silver were to eat with. Multiple options for milks and variations on their drinks. Will frequent this store when I'm on that side of town. Sign up for rewards program can be done on your phone and the card saved as a picture. (American in England)”

“This is usually our 'go to' place. Food is always delicious and service is very good. We went Saturday night and the experience wasn't as good. However, customers sitting behind us had bought their dog and kept opening the door, we believe to let the dog out, and it was really cold. We had to sit with our coats on our laps.”

“This is typical of a convenience store. A handy location a limited amount of stock which would include most of the everyday things you are likely to need.It great if you can walk to it as there is limited parking at the door. Just across the road is a decent sized car park.”

“Just to let you know, Google have you located on the site of The Grapes, in Bury st Edmunds. I tried to edit the location, but they said it couldn't be verified. Seems funny as it clearly says, Spar Barningham, I mean where do they think it will be? Don't worry, your happy customers know where you are!!! ?”

“Fairly good convenience store. Local produce available. Good gluten free range. Didn’t have any pepperoni or salami, just ham and stuff like that. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“Great bargains. Just wish staff were a little nicer and happier on the tills. Rude and abrupt at times!! Chuck your shopping down the till. I worked for Waitrose for 16 years we would never serve customers this way. A smile and politeness goes a long long way.”

“Got served by a wonderful lady , who folded our clothes that we were purchasing and handed them to us instead of screwing them up and just being put on the belt . We had a wonderful choice of meat and fish and lots of special offers !!!”

“This Tesco has a range of different foods from all over the world with a wide selection of vegetarian vegan options to gluten free snacks. The ready meals taste superb and are really filling. The bread here tastes and smells amazing as you walk past it as the bread is freshly made earlier in the day. The cheese selection is huge and would be great for a charcuterie board!! The café has a lovely selection of breakfast meals and lunches which are available all day long. This Tesco really has everything highly recommend coming here for your weekly shopping. Staff are friendly. Plenty of space in the carpark and disabled parking.”

“Want to say how helpful the security assistant was when I popped in this week for a few bits. He saw I was holding a few bits and struggling to manoeuvre around things with my double buggy so offered to put my shopping through on the self service for me. Very friendly and helpful man :) ”

“I've been going to this tesco for years but having moved very close by I now rely on it much more than ever. Everyone in there is always hard working and friendly, I always find what I want and although the self service machines often glitch, that's not at the fault of staff.”

“Probably one of the better supermarkets in bury. staff are helpful. shelves can seem quite empty at times what can be annoying but if lots of people are shopping there its to be expected. like alot of the other supermarkets cages/order picking trolleys are just left about the aisles which can pose a health hazard to shoppers”
