“Love this place, but more often than not we will see staff talking to each other in the aisles instead of doing work even when they're literally being asked to do so.Had multiple tills try and open and close after 2 minutes because they realised none of the staff wanted to come over and help them, even on extremely packed days.You'll look around and they'll just be standing there talking, pretending to do work. Bit silly in my opinion.However, the rest of the place is very nice, clean and taken care of. Literally just the staff who are a bit weird/rude at points. They clearly don't like or want to be at their job. They all seem miserable.”

“Aldi is like entering The Hunger Games but with trolleys. You walk in for bread and milk, and somehow leave with a wetsuit, an air fryer, and a chainsaw. The middle aisle is basically Narnia – nobody knows where the stuff comes from, but we all need it.
Checkout is the real sport. Blink once and the cashier has scanned 47 items – if you’re not packing at the speed of light, you’ll be shamed by the next customer in line. Still, the prices are so good you forgive the PTSD from the conveyor belt Olympics.
10/10 – would recommend if you enjoy surprise shopping and adrenaline rushes.”

“Staff are friendly and efficient, so it's nice to visit, with the added convenience of the parcel drop shop. Prices are similar to the co-op round the corner (as they are related) but they do have offers and bargains often. Parking is very awkward locally.”
“Apart from the 3hrs it's shutthis is most definitely a community shop, many bills can be paid hear, gas and electricity are available to buy, all sorts of top ups, great offers lots of alcohol, general household items and some great deals.”

“One of the best supermarkets around. Whilst being more expensive than it's other German competitor I think, it has the edge over it. I have been shopping here for over 10 years now and it never fails to disappoint.
I love the idea of their middle of Lidl isle, and have bought a whole load of stuff ( mostly on whim!) at reasonable prices.”

“Very busy, with the few manned tills trying to cope with long queues and the self-service points had hardly anyone using them. As a mobility scooter user the manned tills if both sides are open they are difficult to negotiate and the self-service ones difficult to operate. The staff try their best but when the store is so busy they don't have the tip to help.”

“After the demise of the Port Road Post Office, this Londis Off-Licence took over the Post Office responsibilities. They’ve always been a busy outlet due, in some part, to their proximity to the Industrial Estate opposite. There’s an ATM and Post Box outside but not a lot of parking.”

“For a small(ish) supermarket the range of stock is impressive. Good veg section with some surprises. Most interesting are the number of goods from eastern Europe. The range of meats/cooked sausages gives ample room for experimenting with new flavours and tastes. Also interesting wines. From Polish and Romanian delicacies to incense sticks - they also have the everyday basics all served up by friendly staff. Recommended.”

“I love this Lidl, it’s spacious and modern looking. Parking spaces be real big too and there’s a lot of it.
Yummy bakery, toilets and the staff are very nice here.
Some of the trolleys get hair stuck in the wheels or something and they don’t roll. But most of them are fine.”
