“Having had a totally negative experience at a local Garden Centre where food wasn't available, we headed back into Towcester to take advantage of their cafe. Too hungry by this time to travel further towards Stony Stratford and the excellent Wellington Restaurant at Cherry Lane. Waitrose had a good selection of sandwiches and we decided on a couple of their Mixed Sandwich selection and a Tea & Coffee. Excellent choice with a range of fillings in each pack - not your simple cheese or ham but a tasty filling was crammed into each quarter. Beautiful. Nice setting, clean tables and pretty immaculate area all round. Olney disappointment (and this is nothing to do with the restaurant) was the mature couple who when finished their food, left the table as if a bomb had hit it. The floor was pretty bad too. Despite sitting only a few feet from a tray holder where everyone else was depositing their detrius, these two were old enough to know better but guess they had the view that everyone else was beneath them and off they went. Certainly one of the better Supermarket cafes in the area.”

“We had planned on doing some additional shopping online from another supermarket but we actually got everything we needed and more at ALDI (Old Greens Norton Road, Towcester). Great fresh fruit, vegetables and meat as always.”

“go here a lot with my mum since it’s the nearest shop to us, me and my sister popped in to get a few bits the other day. i’m autistic and suffer with seizures so i have a sunflower lanyard.we were waiting for self service checkout and a lady from the customer service desk kindly called us over and offered to check us out there. we didn’t ask or indicate we were impatient.i’ve been going here for years and know a lot of the staff as they’re friends with mum etc but it was really lovely to see simple accommodations.”
