“Took car in with suspected slow puncture and left it with them. About 10 minutes later I received a call to say there was a bolt in the tyre and could not be repaired. New tyre fitted within half an hour. Really pleased, especially as they were quite busy.”

“I recently took my car to Halfords Autocentre at Tunstall, for the first time. My brakes were "spongy" and didn't feel right. I phoned and got an appointment the following day, they contacted me after a couple of hours with the diagnosis and subsequently carried out necessary work required. I was very satisfied with the service, costs were probably average and overall I felt like I had received good value for money. Whilst the car was with them they checked the battery, etc. The car needed brake pads on the front, interestingly a local tyre garage in Butt Lane had tried to upsell pads AND new discs only a few weeks ago. Obviously that garage was trying to rip me off, which causes me to doubt the three tyres they sold me, when I only had a query on one. Wish I had purchased the tyres from Halfords. Would definitely use them again. Special thanks to mechanic Gary who took the time to explain exactly what work he had carried out on my car.”
