“Great shop and staff but the oatcakes which used to be really good are now awful and same goes for the sandwiches. You know those terrible bacon bits type oatcakes, well they're those and they taste really bad.Still a great shop though.”

“Usual supermarket experience but don't bother with scan and shop as I've been stopped for checking 4 times in 6 visits. Don't think I look that suspicious (!), but there does seem to be a permanent purge on. Presumably the system is so open to abuse, it needs to be constantly monitored.”

“I've shopped here for a number of years. It's not my most local One Stop, but I find it hugely better than the one nearest me on (Blurton Rd). It's always very well stocked, with the right products needed, and good supply without fail. The store is always nice and clean, organized, and the staff always really friendly as well.”

“Brilliant little tesco, especially when it's a bank holiday! We went here on a bank holiday Monday after realising Tesco Extra in Longton was shut - we managed to get 95% of things we needed, including veg and cat treats! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to do a simple tesco shop :)”

“Always a safe pleasant experience. Helpful friendly staff. Lots of goods in the integrated mini market you won't find in other local shops. Chiller counter for cold cuts, bacon and cheese etc which is cut to order. Good choice of staples. Good value and quality.”

“Co-op has put in every good one-way system every single time I go there the one-way system is being used correctly and on the inner calm it constantly reminds us about why we are taking the precautions the workers at Co-op are extremely helpful but there should be a couple more workers stacking the shelves or something so people can go up and ask for help the Co-op has sanitising stations at the entrance and exit of the shop the Co-op always has great deals and offers on on enticing more of the products to be sold and helping people who don't have enough moneyOverall the co-op in the Meir has great customer service and I wish it keeps doors open for a very very very very very very also you can't forget very very very long time I'm I would be lost without itXoxo”

“I was taken ill when I was in Tesco I have never met such wonderful people. A very pretty young lady got me a seat and made me a beautiful cup of tea and stayed with me until I could continue shopping 2 gentlemen came and checked I was ok. These people were fantastic to me and when I was ok and checked out a another pretty young lady checked me out and packed my bags for me. The staff in Audley Tesco could not do enough to help me. I was on my own and I was treated so well by these people I can never ever thank them enough. I love our Tesco I feel safe in there as I have panic attacks I use to have my best friend who went everywhere with me because of my panic attacks. Sadly she passed away exactly 12months ago. So now o have to go places alone. This is a very very big thing for me but I feel safe in Audley Tesco because the staff are so compassionate and caring.”

“Quality selection of goods from light snacks to real ale. Staff are friendly and are always willing to help. Also doubles up as the local post office which comes in handy if you miss a delivery you can have it sent here and collect at your leisure.”

“It is what it is, a small chain grocery store. Smaller than their semi-related Tesco Express chain but always well-stocked with most things you could need in a pinch - bear in mind that they don’t stock Tesco own-brand household goods anymore so you will pay a premium for branded goods. Has its problems with shoplifting but you could say the same about every grocery shop in Stoke-on-Trent nowadays. I have a few friends who work there and the rest of the team are always friendly.The only issue I really have - and this is not reflective of the Fenton team - is the company’s focus on online delivery services like Just Eat etc. - the company have not invested in man hours to cope with this. This has the double knock-on effect of leaving in-store customers waiting for service, while the assistant on shift is run ragged and can more easily make mistakes, leading of course to unhappy online customers. The team put on a brave face which is admirable, but the way it’s been described for a job that essentially pays minimum wage is ghastly.”

“I love this store. It is small but goes back a long way. You can get all of your groceries here. I buy Crabbies ginger beer from here. I can't get it anywhere else. Very friendly and helpful staff. Its always nice to pop in this shop.”

“This store is what customer service is all about. Wether it is over the phone regarding help with hermes parcels or in-store with a vast array of product. Got everything i needed didnt have to go to morrisons. The charasmatic young gent who served me, was informative, helpful and great at sell through. Didnt get his name but he had lovely curly hair. Worked in retail management for years pleasure to shop there.”

“Smiths are brilliant, but they really need to train their staff. Try getting an electronic cigarette from a guy standing under a 'Vype3' photo and he'll gladly sell you a first edition Vype without understanding that the 3 is significantly different.”

“If you live that side of cheadle it's the only shop and my friend is that side and we both required the shop it sells a huge amount of items and the price is ok. They are also open from 6 until 10pm.”
