“We were very impressed with this newish hotel (opened 2021) which is a bit out of the way (it's on the campus of Keele University) but no problem with a car. The staff were super welcoming and the room was modern, light and very clean. We asked for a room with a view - and weren't disappointed. If you want one, ask for the 5th floor looking east. We had Room 531. Breakfast (£9.99 extra) was very well appointed and we enjoyed taking it outside. One thing to watch is that the car parking on the entire campus is not covered for the hotel. Only park next to the hotel and not to the left hand side.”

“Super handy local store - has everything you need and more. Friendly and helpful staff. Great to pop in on a Sunday or evening for the essentials. Cashpoint outside. Just be careful entering and leaving the car park at the back - bit tight space-wise.”

“Good place and with me living just across the bridge from it it's good if I just what to pop out to get something but reason for no 5 stars is repeatedly out of stock on specific important things but other then that the prices are also quite bad cause I went for a small bottle of doctor pepper and they tried making me pay £1.80 for it same with the treats £3.00 for a bag of malteasers but other then the out of stockness and the prices it's a good little place to visit and it's right next to the water Hays chip shop so it's a good location and quite nice”
“Never been to a petrol station with an attendant to fill the car for me. Friendly staff too. Not a complaint but they don't take commercial fuel cards. A hgv wouldn't fit anyway but company car drivers like me have to claim back”
