“The 5 star service I got today at Blacks was absolutely amazing. One of my palliative care patients husbands 80th birthday is on Sunday. His wife wanted to buy him a pair of trousers & a jumper. Hes 6foot 5 inches. Blacks staff managed to find him smart trousers and a lovely jumper. I collected them today wrapped & delivered them. She's given them to him & they fit perfectly. Thank you for making her dream come true. You truly are super stars ? Love and Enormous Blessings Annie xxx”

“Good range of items, and clothes! There always seems to be large queues at checkouts. There is a cafe and toilets upstairs. There is an escalator upstairs but stairs to come down, yet there is two lifts at the back of the shop. Great options of parking outside, lots of disabled and parent and child spots.”

“I've been after an over shoulder bag as my little girl a has ADHD and never stays by my side so I need my hands free I've look every where and it was quiet hand to find one they were all pink or blue I just wanted a black one that goes with anything you were so I pop in river island and found this and I also saw the purse which I feel in love with a bit of bling bling us lady's need a bit if that the bag was 30 and the purse was 20 I also pick up a pink bag for my little girls cause she wanted to look like mummy I'm not going to lie some lovely clothes but not very cheap one but if your treating your self it's worth a look”

“Absolutely clueless about smelly stuff.Man's perfect visit.In and out in under 5 minutes.Asked the very helpful staff what was the best seller as a gift for my 16yr old daughter.Straight to the point even told me about deals they had on so bought a little more.Accept blue light discount too so 15% off the bill.Would have given it 6 stars but can only select 5.”

“Very good next. It's got a all the big sections you want. Kids, home, women and men. Also got a Costa as a bonus which has a lot of seating. One of the better next I've been to and due to size they stock a wide range.”

But so nice not to have to wait for ages in the queue!Would definitely visit again if in the area. “The best charity shop in Stafford for books.There was three walls from the floor to just over your head filled will books. I’ve not gone in here once and left empty handed. Paperbacks are £2, hardcovers are a little more.”

“I went to Asda today to buy a specific product, only to find it was out of stock. The lovely caring shop assistant, Claudia, went off to find out if she could get a discount on the alternative product for me. She returned with a discount card and a £1 coin. She had taken the money from her own pocket, which I immediately returned to her. What a generous young lady, who clearly has a heart of gold. An asset to your company. We need more Claudia's in this world.”

“I recently purchased some max factor makeup items and absentmindedly left them on the counter at the Stafford store. I returned the next day and explained showing my receipt and the young lady went and got me the items no questions asked! Not sure of her name but lovely customer service!!”

“Is it just me or has JD lowered the amount of trainers they have in store now?? A few years ago they seemed to be mainly trainers, really cool ones as well and no much clothing but now it seems to of moved to half and half which is disappointing for me as I specifically went in to buy a new funky pair of trainers but disappointed with the small selection ?”

“The GAME inside this SportsDirect is one I actively visit to check out what's available, the staff for the game section are always on it and friendly. I can't speak for the sportsdirect experience but the shop itself has had a massive visual improvement since the move.”
