The food was really good and the girls serving were doing their best in a very hot environment where they could not open any doors or windows or put the Aircon on, but to ruin the night was Martin the manager who was quite rude and walked away with a HUFF for asking for a bag to bring food home and it was meant to be a Mother?s Day treat wasn?t what we were expecting. and we would?ve had a pudding and more drinks, but the pudding would?ve probably have melted before it got to us and due to the Manager, we didn?t buy more drinks.

Lovely meal, the meat was so tender (gammon and turkey) with lots of vegetable options.
Mary was our waitress, she was lovely from when we arrived to when we left. She was very attentive, helpful and chatty. Lovely lady who made the visit to the Toby in Burton even more pleasant.

Hadn't booked a table but was happy to seat us. Food was delicious, hot and we didn't pile a load of food on our plates. Mary came to see if we needed/wanted a pudding. Said no. Mary was very nice and courteous. In fact the other 2 members of staff were very pleasant. Great for the company
