“Today my elderly mother had a fall in this store. The care that we received was outstanding, there was nothing that was too much trouble. Whilst we waited for the ambulance we were fully supported. A member of staff even offered me a jacket to sit on as I was on the floor with my mother. A massive thank you to you all, everyone was so lovely to us, truly heartwarming.”

“Would have given 5 stars, but the card machine wasn't working, it had been, apparently, not working the day before. So I had to go and get cash out of the ATM, at customer services. Very happy with purchase though, will be ordering more online, and collecting at the shop.Lovely staff, though I thought they were customers- when one of them asked if I was ok there, I thought it was abit odd for another customer to ask me that !!”

“Shopped instore at Matalan, Doncaster today. Usually shop online, so haven't been in a store for a while. Pleasantly surprised on the range of clothing, household items etc available.Many of the tills are self service, which are ok if you know what you're doing, but there were friendly staff available when I experienced a couple of difficulties. Just be aware that coathangers are no longer "free" - there is a charge for each one taken!”

“It’s hard to find a negative with this store. Always well staffed and the staff are lovely. Customer services have got it right which is a rarity today. Easy parking and a good selection of goods. Over the last year I have been moving around to ‘cost’ different supermarket chains and M&S, as long as you’re selecting carefully, are on top for price and quality. Especially with veg, bread and milk the essentials are cost effective. My only negative is that some of the more popular ranges of meals have seen a stark sometime disproportionate increase but this is company wide. e.g the Ramen meal deal which had priced me out. But instead of buying twice a week I’ve just reduced to once.Overall, well done M&S”

“Large shop with lots of barging, large women's section and a good selection of kids clothes, but not a massive section for men, some of the store was a bit of a jumble sale so you have to hunt through the rails, the staff on the checkout were very pleasant”

“I bought a Mattress which i believed to be a real bargain , the mattress was a very odd size and didn't fit the bed so i rang the store for help.This is the critical point with any business , how do they respond to an issue ?Well Becky and Michelle rose to the challenge , they have completely restored my faith in customer service in general , they were superb , they went out of there way to resolve the problem , they kept me informed with what they were doing and they have resolved the problem completely to my satisfaction..They are a credit to NEXT and i thank them for there efforts .Excellent customer service is a rarity in todays environment , i can certainly say that if you approach the situation in the right manner and ask rather than "demand" help, my experience has been fantastic!Thank - you Becky and Michelle !Gary Burns.”

“One of the better clothing stores in Doncaster town centre, offers a good range of different top & mid level brands, with plenty of choice available. There is often a sale of some sort on too, enabling you to pick up some high-end clothing at bargain prices if you time it right (i.e. summer clothes at the end of the holiday season).”
