"Appalling Treatment of Loyal Customers"
I?ve been a customer since the Alliance & Leicester days, having my mortgage with them for over 22 years. Throughout this time, I?ve paid every single payment on time without fail, not missing a single one. I?ve paid thousands of pounds in interest over the years, only to be slapped with an insulting £195 fee as I approached paying off the final £167 of my mortgage.
This is how Santander treats loyal customers who have shown unwavering commitment: by charging exorbitant fees at the end of their journey. It?s disgraceful. They clearly don?t value long-term customers or their business. Once this mortgage is paid off, I will never bank with Santander again ? EVER.
If you?re considering using them, think again. They are nothing more than a profit-hungry institution with no regard for loyalty or fairness. Avoid them at all costs.

?I had the pleasure of being assisted by Vicky, on the 22nd of October st the Doncaster branch, and I can?t thank her enough for her exceptional service. Despite my difficult situation, Vicky was incredibly empathetic and made sure all my needs were met. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she took the time to ensure I was completely satisfied with my experience. Her patience and kindness really stood out, and I truly appreciated her support. What kind of bank shuts at 3pm on a weekday. As if bankers didn?t already have it easy enough to just reinvest my money. Now they can?t even work a full day.

What a joke of a bank.....such shoddy service....don't care about their customers at all.....can't get through to a real person to discuss your inadequacy.....once again you screw your customers in favour of your shareholders.....well I'm not going to let it go this time....I'm going to do my best to bring your bank down.... remember customers fuel your business.. without us you are NOTHING

Visited Doncaster Branch on 19th December to withdraw money and machine broke down whilst I was using it. Staff refused to retrieve card from machine as it was not a Santander card and told me to go to the bank of my card issuer to cancel the card! 4 days before Christmas and unable to use my card - total disgrace

Closed when why shpuld be open. Constantly lie to you on the phone. My whole family has been with santander since it was abbey yet its gone downhill so much ive decided i have to change banks. Kept lying about where my money was, wouldnt release it for weeks,causing my bills and rent to be late due to no fault of my own. Currently in a complaints issue with them

Used to be fine no problems apart from sometimes not been able to use card in atms. Now my opinion has changed drastically they've frozen my account apparently due to a Facebook marketplace sale. Won't give me a proper explanation, really unhelpful. Major inconvenience can't even access my own money. Definitely moving to another bank cos anything is better than this. I'd give no stars if I could.
