Called in on a Sunday lunch time. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff and customers. Good food at a reasonable price.

Stopped here looking for a Sunday roast. Unfortunately, not on, but there was a menu. So we stayed for a bite. Customers and staff are really friendly, especially our very own waiter, the pub dog. The pub itself is undergoing a renovation of sorts as it's a grade 2 listed building. Would be good to go back in 12 months.
New owners, Colin & Carrie, are looking forward to welcoming more old and new customers alike, we have many plans.
Currently we have Doom bar, Guinness, Thatcher’s gold, Carling, Worthington’s and Madri. Also, various bottled beers, Newcastle brown, Hobgoblin ruby, Old speckled hen & Rattlers. We are a free house, so can arrange guest ales and lagers when the demand arises.
Live bands, open mike and karaoke evenings are already booked, there is also a pool table and a juke box.
Improvements are under way, and subject to approval, motor home, caravan & camping will soon be available, bikers, dogs & family are all welcome.
