polite reception staffgp is a really sympathetic person maybe a struggle to get a same day appointment used the e consult system they can take a while to ring you but when they do hopefully they can get you an appointment straight away all in all mendip Vale is trying to help but the system is not helping them

Mendip Vale should be struck off. We need a new doctor invited to take up residence at the Congresbury surgery. Congresbury was always for years an excellent surgery, until mendip vale managed to take it over so they could shut it down. Now, I sit in a queue for 30 minutes on the phone just for them to tell me to fill out an econsult. The econsult told me I need to phone and speak to a medical professional. 30 minutes of waiting later they decide I have to go to the Pharmacy, where the pharmacist looks confused and a little bit embarrassed that she is being asked about something that, in her words "I Don't know what they expect from me, because I am a Pharmacists and not a Doctor" and agreed to refer me back to actually see a doctor.Utterly farcical. If it wasn't healthcare, it would be a hilarious sketch in a Monty Python episode.Three days later and I have still heard nothing back. I hope if I eventually get an appointment that it will be in Yatton, because at least the 45 minute walk to Yatton surgery has pavements, so although taking about the same distance to travel to as Langford, I am significantly less likely to be run over and die. Very glad I'm not old or infirm, as the walk to Yatton (a villiage without a single bus service) would be impossible. I think technically there is a bus service in Yatton, so elderly patients seeking a doctors appointment would have to get a bus into bristol, and one of the service of one or two buses a day that go to Langford. Inexplicably, despite having worked so hard to take over our Congresbury surgery, Mendip Vale are not offering transport to patients who miraculously do manage to get an appointment with their GP somehow.Mendip Vale must be struck off and its senior figures banned from working in healthcare in the UK.Congresbury surgery must be reopened and be an excellent surgery where you can phone and get a same day appointment without any ridiculous hoops like it was in the 90s and 00s, before these incompetent vandals took over.

Don?t display that your open til 12:30 on a Saturday and then not answer the phone at 11:50. I literally have to go without medication because of this misinformation/laziness.

Since merging with Mendipvale this practice has gone to the wall very poor service never any appointment yet practice is empty and to top it off you done even follow up triage calls

If I could give this practice zero stars I would. Since going with mendip vale the practice has gone from a excellent practice to dismal, but they don?t seem to be reading their reviews to try and change this. I rang at 8am and stayed on the phone until 8.30 then was told all the appointments were gone for Clevedon and I could go to yatton, I can see the Clevedon surgery from where I live and have no transportation to get me to yatton, I live in Clevedon that?s why I want a doctor in Clevedon not a doctor 4 miles away. Also train your staff in being more polite and helpful. It does say this practice is accepting new patience they can?t deal with the ones they have now let alone any more.

God forbid there's actually anything wrong with you - a disinterested call center worker will tell you there is no possibility of an appointment for at least 1 month... Either that or go to hospital. Amazing how they can diagnose whether your case is serious or not simply by refusing to be helpful and not asking any questions. The wonders of modern (privately run) medicine!

I?m on phone 22 minutes , I?m in the queue n 18 and when come my time ring 3 times and switch phone off . Unbelievable. We pay nhs every months . This is unreal I got emergency and have take my daughter with 39 fever far to hospital because local medical don?t care

Extremely poor service .. rude receptionist? I called at 11:40 am as my two previous attempts calling earlier had failed after 20 minutes waiting .. when I got through I explained I was in agony with chronic back pain and could I have an appointment or phone consultation.. despite having several surgeries and loads of doctors she would not assist in anyway other than to call back at 8:00 am the following day? I explained the pain I was in but she wasn?t interested? I am disgusted with her lack of professionalism and uncaring attitude ? we have also had Covid and no back up calls asking how we are (my partner has been in hospital) I brand this surgery and it?s staff as totally useless ? thanks for nothing

Some doctors are fantastic. The biggest problem I have is with the receptionists. Some of them are very difficult and downright rude. Also the phone system is bizarre. At times it just goes silent and it will say there is a wait time of 10 mins, 40 mins later the phone is answered.

Went for blood tests but was 10 mins late because of closed road. Arrived 9.53 am. Called surgery but was listening to an automated message and music for 7 minutes until I got there. Waited 45 mins in waiting room when I asked when I would be seen I was told the bloods woman had gone for coffee break and she might be able to fit me in at 11...the time now was 10 40 am.I said I've sat in a room full of strangers in middle of a pandemic when I havn't exposed myself to anyone since March including spending time indoors with my own grandchildren!!!Demanded another appointment.So now I havd to go again tomorrow at 7.50 am...I'm made a formal complaint.1 star given as couldn't comment otherwise.I'll be moving practice ASAP.Appalling service and attitude from the receptionist.

Can never get an appointment and when you do its a hour and a half late waiting everytime. They still havnt got my records from my last doctors, keep sending me reminders that are not correct.
