We were there with 8 other friends and had a fantastic weekend. We were well looked after by the owners. We all said wow what a great place to stay. The beach is close and had a lovely walk into town.

Amazing place to stay! (It's currently listed to rent as 'Thornemead Castle'.) Every part of it is stunning and so comfortable it's difficult to leave! However, there are lots of activities locally, including a 10 minute walk to get to Uphill Beach. Loved it!

The rooms were comfortable, clean and very quiet. Unfortunately they were also shabby and rather neglected. The owners are currently focused on another aspect of their business in another part of town. As a result the rooms were not serviced at any point in our 3 night stay.
