Whilst making a purchase I was asked at the till if I was in the over 60s club …. I was rather taken aback , I wouldn’t think this is company policy . I know you can sign up for extra loyalty card benefits but I don’t think you should be asked this question in front of other customers.

My wife, on crutches following surgery, tried to consult a pharmacist at Weston-super-Mare Boots this morning. A very painful rash had developed overnight, which was spreading.
She was abruptly advised that an appointment was required, soonest after 2.30pm, over 3 hours later.
