We visited on the off chance and were surprised at how helpful and friendly the staff were. We returned the following week and discovered the same. We were helped setting up Wi-Fi to plan a future journey while having a drink. If you want a quiet evening drink definitely a pub to visit.

This is a good local pub. Historic inside. Limited meal selection but tasted great. Small intimate pub. Would consider going again if in the area.

The food wasn?t very nice chips were burnt, the waiter was drunk, the other waiter was rude, cutlery was very dirty it was stuck to the tissue and the dishes weren?t clean either

Just had an amazing dinner and desert today. Staff so polite and tables cleared and wiped down as soon as soon as you left.would definitely recommend this pub for Sunday lunch

We were welcomed into the pub for a roast and it definitely hit the spot for a easter bank holiday cider drinking. The roast pork and crackling was epic. Veg was steaming and cooked perfectly. The roasties were crisp and fluffy and gravy was thick and rich.
The range of ciders was bountiful and the hangover will be worth it.
Thank you to Zoe and Kacey for the service and musical entertainment.
