Poor experience overall. Wrong table given, had to get our own menus, food took nearly an hour. Parking isn?t free, and service was disorganised. Even had to ask for spoons after desserts were brought to a table full of plates from our starters and mains! Only came due to an offer through the post, and happily won?t be returning!

The new menu is not good losing such dishes as gammon steak which is a pub staple, chicken breast has been replaced by chicken snickzel, which is a lot cheaper for the same price, the chips have gone from nice chunky chips to cheap oven chips? the salad was literally a fork worth ! I use to come here regularly but after the meal yesterday I don?t think I?ll bother.

Caters very well for children & adults alike. Food, service and atmosphere very good. Worth a repeat visit.
Kid-friendliness: The food was very good but the service was so slow that the building block games and colouring sheets & pencils kept the children entertained for a while but not for the over two hours meal. An unnecessary length of time. Shame as, as I said, the food was very good.

Just had a really lovely Mother's Day meal at The Bear. Delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. Our experience was made even better with excellent service from Chloe. Very attentive, had a giggle with us and went the extra mile with the pudding. Thanks Chloe, we'll be back.

Christmas dinner here was so perfect. Absolutely delicious food that everyone enjoyed. Great hosting from all the staff- they were so cheerful and welcoming. It was easy to park, booking was so straightforward and lots of lovely details like crackers, loads of gravy and perfectly chilled Prosecco.
Have been back recently and the whole experience was just as lovely!
Kid-friendliness: Staff couldn?t have been more welcoming to our children. They love the clumping frame and it feels really safe
