Arrived on Sunday with my wife and daughter to a warm welcome. We were shown to a table not to our liking, so we asked if we could sit elsewhere and without hesitation we were able to choose a table that suited us. The staff were really friendly, polite and couldn’t be more helpful. We stayed in room 12 on the 6th and left on the 7th. The room was very clean, had plenty of amenities and our children loved it. Breakfast was superb and the value was just incredible, we’d happily stay at the Bear Inn again.

Perfectly located for holidaymakers, and warmly welcoming to locals looking for a great place to eat in Street, The Bear Inn is the quintessential village pub restaurant. Our beautiful building is on the High Street, directly opposite the original C & J Clark workshops.
Our well-appointed rooms are located in the pub and its surrounding cottages, and offer an idyllic and comfortable place to stay within easy reach of Wells and Glastonbury. As well as a great base for holidaymakers, our rooms are an excellent choice for conferences and business seminars. We have two function rooms onsite, and our pub is easily reached from the M5.
