Pub food but boutique-ish presentation and portions.I opted for the steak and tangle foot pie, which was great. We made our first visit yesterday for drinks and food, and were amazed by the quality of service and food. Nothing was too much trouble and the person who originally helped us had his coat on ready to go home, but stayed on for quite some while (with his coat off!) to ensure that we were looked after. We ordered lots of small tapas dishes. That said the food wasn't great. Chicken wings all bones. The cheese straws were undercooked puff pastry sprinkled with herbs and hardy any cheese or flavour. Awful really. Cheese straws should be like brandy snaps but made of Parmesan cheese. The extra chips we ordered were chewy...
