“Along with ALDI they are the cheapest supermarkets. I like the fact they sell some well known brands and the fresh bakery section is an added bonus. The LIDL plus card is not as lucrative as it used to be. You used to get money off your shopping when you had spent a certain amount. Now it's just a free bakery item or fruit and vegetable item. They do give coupons for discounts off certain food items. Usually products you have bought in the past, which is good. They do a nice selection of greetings cards as well as newspapers and magazines. All round a good place to shop. With free parking, and disabled spaces available.”

“Great store that carries a lot of stock for the size. Gluten free available.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Meal deals are pretty good. Love the coffee dispenser but ask for the chocolate powder sprinkles!
Pick up point for Argos. Speedy and convenient.”

“We do our main shop here. I'm not a brand snob and find their own brands perfectly acceptable, if not better than well known brands in some cases. I prefer the smaller range of products. It makes shopping quicker and easier. Who needs 10 different brands of soup for instance? I like the special buys aisles with different products every week. Shopping can be very boring and mundane. ALDI makes it a different experience every week. Admittedly their prices are not as cheap as they used to be. But there is still big savings to be made compared to the other big supermarkets.”

“It's a small store, ok for small shop & essentials.

It was a quick call here to collect some items that we had missed when doing our weekly shopping. We were able to get what we wanted, paid & left.

OK staff & reasonable amount of parking spaces.”

“A really handy M&S Simply Food, the only one in Clevedon. It is on the outskirts of town on the Tickenham Road. There is also a BP forecourt on the site. The shop was clean, bright and inviting - well stocked with popular M&S products. There was also a Wild Bean Cafe within the store.”

“Thank you to Bridie and to the gentleman supervising the self-checkout area (whose name I'm afraid I don't have) for finding my daughter's house key after I had dropped it at the store and only realised when I got back to the house . . . Both so helpful and pleasant.”
