When I lived in England I used to always visit this market when visiting Bath. Why? For the architecture and quirky shops. For example...I used to buy from the secondhand bookstore there for the lastest block busters. It's nice to see this is still going strong.

According to a sign inside, while some form of a market in Bath had been around since 1371, the Guildhall was built in 1776 and "the market was arranged around it. A hodge-podge of non sequitur retail stalls makes Guildhall Market a somewhat waste of perfectly prime real estate.
