100 out of 10! Very friendly and welcoming staff, beautifully kept historic building. The portion sizes are hearty and the food is out of this world...my mum had the lamb which she thought was the best meal she has eaten in quite some time, the accompanying gravy and mint sauce were also sumptuous.Thank you very much and... read full comment

Lovely. Sat in front of a log fire. Nice glass of wine with my son. Lovely pub in a lovely little village on Christmas eve. All it needed was snow for it to have been perfect.
