“First of all I would like to thank Maureen Allan from myself and both my parents for all her help, advice and continued support she has given my family.Sadly my parents are at time when they both need more support and help.This all being new to both me and my family raised its own challenges. I found at times certain council departments unhelpful (some were) and not forth coming what my parents were intitled to.A member of ELDC o/t department who had been supporting my parents suggested that I speak to Strive who at the time I had not heard of.I felt at this time that we were lost and drowning with nowhere to go.Within a couple of days Maureen contacted me and came to my parents house. Maureen was so friendly, helpful and full of great information and suggestions.
