A really nice wee place with a good lunch menu and plenty of seating in the same space as a gallery/shop. The waiter made me affogato off menu, which always scores brownie points. The asparagus and lemon tart was nice but a bit burnt and approximately the temperature of the sun, which it would have been good to get a warning... read full comment

A really interesting place is Tommy Tosh in Thornhill. Curios, books galore, local products and much more at the front of building and a super cafe at the back. Venison burgers are not to be missed! Good menu with home made everything, including soup, and a good variety of cakes. Easy parking outside.
