Recently ordered one of the new 6inch cakes from the website for a family birthday. Marchbanks didnt disappoint! The sponge was so soft and tasty, jam spot on and tart to cut through all the sweetness of the butter cream. Only one thing i could find wrong was the outside buttercream. It was slightly too thick for me but that is personal preference. I will be purchasing again and again. Fastastic addition Marchbanks!!!!

bought two rolls for lunch in Thornhill today, savoury cheese and a tuna both with excellent fresh salad on delicious rolls. Bought a farl loaf too and it's delicious

No photos of the coffee or cakes as the cakes did not last that long. We popped in for Cake and Coffee whilst out for a walk. The coffee was really nice, and the Cakes were lovely! We had Strawberry Tart and fresh cream and Jam doughnut. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Amazing family Buisness with great service and really nice Cakes.

Very popular here during lunchtime, I opted for a Scotch pie, and sausage roll, the pie was packed with meat and tasty, sausage roll very good too. The sandwiches and salads are made to order and looked good, some hot food options too. I picked up some local pickle too. Nice service, good bakers!
