“What a great place to stay along the WHW. Rooms were as simple as needed, everything in quality condition. Meals in the common room/restaurant/bar were excellent. I'd highly recommend this plate as a more affordable and worthwhile alternative to the hotel.”

“Wij hebben daar alleen gegeten 's-avonds, maar het was erg goed. Ik kan de eende borst van harte aanbevelen. Het bezat veel sfeer en zelfs een "beergarden". Met het oog op het naderende Halloween was de hele pub grandioos versierd. Echt sfeervol.Food & drinks: Heerlijk gedineerd, goede prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding.Noteworthy details: Bijzonder sfeervol aangekleed, zowel als pub maar ook met het oog op het naderende Halloween.”

“The building has such a great history. Make sure you read about it before or when visiting, because you will look with a different mindset. The rooms where clean and the bed enormous. The carpet was not that clean, because of kind of big spots, but maybe that is fixable. The shower is great. And the food and the people are so kind and friendly!”

“I have been to this Hotel prior to it becoming part of the Karma chain and so have made direct comparison. This hotel is a Den of Tranquillity.Superb staff, managers Adam & Adele with Michelle staffing the desk were on hand and really knew their stuff regarding the Hotel (including the Whisky cellar), location and activities. Connor and Aindi delivered amazing service in the bar and restaurant. Great menu and dishes were to a very high standard. Top marks to the Chefs and kitchen staff.Hotel is being refurbished and we stayed in an older room. No issues with cleanliness. Every day Anna returned our room to immaculate condition. The location serves well for those who want a base to explore Scotland. Trossachs, Loch Lomond, Glencoe, Glasgow, Edinburgh and beyond is only a short drive away.It was a pleasure to stay and I would highly recommend it.”

“Kitted my whole flat out with oak furniture land products. Bed, Tv unit, nest of tables, bedside tables, lamp table, wardrobe, coffee table and chest of drawers.Don’t look at the prices and think it’s an expensive shop either cos whatever you buy from here will never need replaced. This is why when a member of staff asks if I’d like to take out an extended warranty I always refuse it. What’s the point when their stuff lasts forever anyway?”

“The Travelodge has ample parking at no cost, the staff are very pleasant, efficient and friendly. It is a dog friendly Travelodge, I took my dog there, she said she liked it :-) I found it to be a modern, very clean Travelodge in a central location in Stirling, despite being in the town centre, it was very quiet. Costs for meals and drinks are very reasonable for a town centre location, I had an evening meal and breakfast there, both were very nice. If you prefer Tesco and Pizza Hut are very close to the Travelodge. I without doubt recommend the Stirling City Centre Travelodge as a very nice place to stay.”

“Went in with my wee one and kitten since was just at the vets in Stirling! Was impressed, staff were so lovely, Simon was so friendly and helpful and showed me beds that were similar to the one I have but even better?the other guy can’t mind his name he was so good with my wee one as well and gave him wee snacks and put music on for him to keep entertained. Ended up getting a king size bed and new mattress instead and got it at a really good price since the sale! Can’t wait for the bed to come ?”

“Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy, but the heating system wasn't very good so the room was cold, which for a sufferer of arthritis made the following morning painful. Also, the hand sink plug was stuck in so the water etc wasn't able to flow away. Told the receptionist on checking out, who was very sympathetic, professional and pleasant to chat with.Despite the issues, I enjoyed the stay and would go there again”

“Really lovely hotel, with great staff. Superb location with plenty of parking in the heart of the old town. Loved our stay and had surprisingly great haggis and black pudding for breakfast. The bathroom in the room we stayed in was run down with broken tiles, but overall a really nice hotel.”

“The hotel itself was fine and the girls seemed really nice engaging with my daughter every time they saw her , which made for a genuinely nice experience for her. Gave the service 3 stars simply because i find it hard to believe in 2023 that wifi isn't included in the cost of the room. 30 mins free is an absolute throwback to when broadband first came on the scene.”
