“Victoria, the Assistant Manager, was superlative: she helped us organise a very special occasion in every little detail.She went above and beyond in meeting our requests and expectations and the outcome was absolutely brilliant.The Maitre d'h, Hubert, provided a World-class service and so did every staff member.The food was equally great: well presented and so tasty.I could not recommend Cringletie enough.”

“Had a great stay here at the weekend. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother. There was secure storage for my bike, bike wash facilities with cleaning products and brushes and provision for charging. An ideal location for anyone riding in the valley with everything you need.The food was brilliant and they even had Yorkshire Tea in the room which in my eyes makes it a 10.Thanks for all your help both during the stay and prior to my arrival. You are definitely on the top of my list for future stays.”

“The hotel is very well positioned in Peebles. Whilst the hotel is very clean it is a little tired but don't let me spoil what was a very enjoyable stay. Everyone I spoke to in Peebles said how good the food was. I cannot disagree the dinner was excellent and the staff superb. I was recommended to dine in, Alan at the shop. Caledonia, on the High street was most emphatic to ensure we dined in. Thanks to all at the Green Tree.”

“Just back from a 2 day break with a friend at The Park hotel and this is a lovely little gem in the center of Peebles. A very warm and friendly welcome on arrival and could immediately see what an interesting and quirky place it was, a refreshing change from the standard chain and corporate hotels. Had booked a twin room booked but on arriving in the room it was set up as a double, a quick word with reception and this was immediately rectified with no fuss or bother while we availed ourselves of a coffee and cake served in the gardens from the Bakery. Room was spotless, modern and a lovely size with a gorgeous view over the surrounding countryside. We ate in the bar on our first evening, service and food were both fabulous and the breakfast certainly sets you up for the day. The room has a coffee pod machine, a fridge, hauirdryer, iron, ironingboard and a safe. The Arran toiletries in the bathroom smell amazing and are available to purchase if you want. The hotel has its own private car park and is situated just a 2 minute walk to the main shopping street and with full use of the facilities at the Hydro, which we also availed ourselves of the Park Hotel provides a lovely oasis of calm where the staff are some of the best i've ever had the pkeasure to deal with, always helpful, knowledgeable and service with a smile. Can't wait to go back in the future but canot recommend tjis hotel highly enough.”
