+ wonderful architecture and grounds + warm welcome and excellent staff + room small but well designed with delightful features, including welcome drams of whisky and interesting books + friendly, professional and warm welcome from the owner over dinner + lovely views with Highland cows in the adjacent field
We stayed here for a week. It’s a beautiful, peaceful location just 10 minutes from Peebles. The service from the staff was excellent. We had most meals at the hotel, which were elaborate, varied and delicious. I would certainly stay again if we return to the Scottish borders.
