“We were quickly welcomed and shown to our reserved table. Our drnks order was also taken and delivered. We decided to order main course and dessert. I had a lovely Beef Wellington (medium rare) and my wife really enjoyed her Barbary Duck which was cooked to her choice of medium. We were very satisfied with the quality and quantity of food. The restaurant was busy and the only negative of our meal was that the staff did not seem to notice that we had finished the mains. I had to call a waitress over to ask for dessert menus. We had a Gingerbread Cheesecake and a Chocolate Almond Dartois. The ice cream was delicious. A nice touch was that as my wife has mobility issues, she was shown to a downstairs staff toilet. The total cost for the meal and drinks was £74.30, not cheap but worth it.”

“Was staying in Room 12. Could have done with a pogo stick to see out the window. And.....do NOT dare get drunk or the wallpaper will finish you! Food in restaurant was really good and super friendly staff.”
