“Okay so I've never reviewed a Premier Inn before as they are all pretty much the same. But prior to arrival read some of the poor reviews on here (including the last one) and got a bit worried. So just wanted to write this to put people's minds at rest really if, like us, you have read some of the recent bad reviews. Myself, my mum and my 3 and a half month old baby stopped here last night. Elaine on the reception desk gave us a lovely warm and friendly welcome. They say first impressions are everything and she gave a lovely first impression. I even asked her where the nearest shop was so I could go get some water and she told me not to be silly and that she would go and get me a jug of iced water from the bar and bring it to my room. Which she did. Very helpful :) The room was clean, quiet and bed was comfortable. We didn't hear a sound past 10pm. View from the room was lovely and to say the hotel is quite close to a road, heard hardly any traffic noise. The kettle was so spotless inside I could see my face in it (very impressed with that as I rely on the kettle for warm sterilised water for my baby and his bottles). We had the continental breakfast the next morning and again, no complaints. The lady doing the breakfast (think she was some sort of a manager) was helpful and friendly too. All in all a pleasant stay for the 3 of us :)”
