Millie, with her infectious warmth, went above and beyond, effortlessly lugging our suitcases upstairs and ensuring we were equipped with all the information we needed for a perfect stay. After settling in, we couldn't resist heading downstairs to soak in the atmosphere over a local beer and a glass of wine. Tom, ever the gracious host, even took it upon himself to expertly parallel park our rental car, a gesture that perfectly captures the level of care and service here. Inside, we were introduced to Jo, Tom's incredible partner, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel instantly at home. She introduced us to a wonderful cast of characters--Craig, Derek, Jack, and many others--who all contributed to the unforgettable atmosphere of this magical place. If you're looking to immerse yourself in the true essence of an authentic pub experience, this is where you need to stay. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. This place is an absolute treasure.”

“Dined there a few times and was pleased at what was offered. Used one of the first floor rooms which can be hired for various purposes this time round.Bright and airy, the hotel has an excellent outlook over Victoria Dock.Nearby activities: Hotel is a five minute walk from the city centre with all of its amenities”

“I stay in this hotel every week for work, best hotel in Dundee by far from all the others ice stayed in. The staff are so friendly on reception and Alex, Gemma, Stuart and Luke stand out they make me so welcome every week. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable bed. Free breakfast included which is amazing. Well worth the stay for anyone that’s coming to Dundee”

“Stayed for 2 nights, friendly welcome on arrival from Graham. Room was clean and tidy. No air conditioning but was able to sleep with window open without any noise, good night's sleep. Would recommend adding breakfast as it really good in the pub next door. No meal deal as the pub independent. Overall nice quiet stay.”

“The food is always amazing, the prices even more. I love the staff and specifically bronagh has stood out to me. She's always so sweet and attentive. She's a complete star and without her, I don't think the business would feel the same. I always look out for her every visit. 100/10 recommended.

“We had the 5 course tasting menu. Absolutely fantastic food. Tempura cauliflower was delicious. Cod was very flavoursome and the steak parcel was melt in your mouth. Each course had plenty of flavour and well cooked. Good service and friendly. Nice spacious dining room with great views.”

“We have been to around 40 Premier Inns around the UK and this one is our favourite when we are attending shows in Dundee. Firstly, it's so easy to get parked in the hotel's large car park and the daily rate was just £4. We usually use the Beefeater restaurant for our evening meals as there is an excellent menu and the food and service is excellent. The breakfast was top notch and plenty available even though we went down at 10:30 (30 mins before they close). The waiting staff and reception staff are very friendly and the hotel is just so convenient for the City Centre. We were attending a show at Dundee rep and we walked there in about ten minutes.The only negative was that the Beefeater bar closed at 10:30pm which is incredibly early for a Premier Inn bar on a Saturday night. Apparently they close at 9:45pm during the week so always worth checking. We were very fortunate that we made it with five mins to spare.”

“Had a disability room...It was lovely and the best kitted out bathroom I've seen in hotels....Staff were lovely and very helpful....Will be back the next time in Dundee....Busses for the town centre are at the back of the hotel...Perfect....57 and 59.....Drop off at the Overgate centre short walk to the V&A and Discovery experience......Noteworthy details: Weaver Mill restaurant next door very reasonable prices for meals...£11 for 2 main meals...”

“Didn't stay here, however staff let my sister with crohns into the bathroom at a very late hour as nowhere else was open. Massively appreciated, staff was an absolute life saver.”

“Rooms: The rooms were clean. Well stocked for tea and coffee. Plenty of towels. Room was quiet even just off a main road.Walkability: Buses ran regularly and walking was not too far to town centre.”
