“Fantastic stay. Breakfast was good with a selection of hot and cold items. Chef was very helpful with my food allergy, think his name was Ross, tall guy with the specs. Would definitely stay again.”

“Visit the Apex City Quay Hotel regularly for work related activities. Every time we visit, we get impeccable service and always feel extremely welcome. The food is always tasty and different each time we visit.Have also stayed in one of their larger rooms over looking the quay. The room was very comfortable. All rooms are very modern also. Would certainly stay again.”

“We stay quite often in this hotel as we find it a very convenient location to the centre of town and it has a car park. We find the staff friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and clean. We are always delighted if we get a river view room. On our most recent stay we had drinks out on the terrace overlooking the river which was lovely. We tried breakfast for the first time and found it very good with plenty of choice and although busy the food was replenished quickly. The staff in the restaurant were equally as friendly and helpful as the hotel staff. We will continue to use this hotel for our Dundee trips.”

“Taypark House in Dundee describes itself as a ‘Boutique Country House, in the city’ and that is exactly what it is. It is just the right size, quirky and charming, the quintessential essence of a true Boutique Hotel. My room, was bright and comfortable, the food was exquisite and the staff were friendly and helpful. With a special thanks to Craig, for his excellent Martinis, and William, for his swift and successful return of my IPad (which I inadvertently left behind in my room). I would thoroughly recommend staying at Taypark House if you are visiting Dundee.”

“My mum and I found ourselves in Dundee travelling south to visit family, after my stepdad broke his femur halfway through the journey and was rushed to the Ninewells Hospital. It was gone 11pm before we knew it, and so we needed somewhere to stay asap. I phoned the hotel and explained the situation to Alfie, the receptionist on duty that night, and he was exceptionally helpful and genuinely caring towards us. We ended up staying several nights as my stepdad required surgery. The rest of the hotel team were amazing - Sean in particular was so helpful to my mum finding a garage when the brakes on her car failed, and he helped me sort out a booking I’d messed up? The rooms were very comfortable and clean too. My mum and I are both autistic and ADHD, and the staff were so supportive and understanding of us which went a long way towards making a difficult time so much easier. A huge thanks again to you guys - you honestly have been amazing. If we ever find ourselves in Dundee again we’ll be back - hopefully under better circumstances this time!☺️”

“A typical Premier Inn. Located just off a major road so a little noisy. Good staff and rooms. Has a Beefeater Restaurant attached.Rooms: Standard Premier InnWalkability: Need a vehicle to get about. Nothing is in walking distance due to the dual carriageway at the front of the hotel.Food & drinks: There's a large Beefeater Restaurant attached to the hotel.”
