Amazing staff and you shown us kindness and great hospitality.
Wondered off the street and asked if they had a quiet spot in the corner out of the way of other diners so we could bring our nervous rescue dog with us.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating on a Friday night.
Stayed 4 nights for a tweed river fishing trip. I would highly recommend this family ran hotel in the heart of Melrose. Room was large, clean and comfy. The breakfast and dinners were excellent and the staff where friendly and attentive.

These guys could not have looked after us better. Very good breakfast and dinner, don't miss out on puddings (or starters); lovely beer on tap, good whisky, a terrace and a golden location. At the end of the night we tucked up as a large group in the Bothy for a nightcap. We were very happy here and would recommend.
